Trunk and lid. Cowhide label: "Brought to Oklahoma in the 1889 Land Run. Cowhide covered wooden trunk with braided leather strips and key lock. Label on inside of trunk lid reads, "Stone-Leather, Portmanteau, Gig and Packing Trunks, Made and sold on the lowest terms, by James Jackson at his manufactory, No. 44, Calvert-street, Baltimore."
