"This Tapu cloth is made by the natives of Samoa Island. It was the only cloth available before the civilized nations traded with them. This cloth was purchased from one of the natives by Clyde Lovelace, Chief electricion of the Battleship Oregon. Donated by R.C. Lovelace 1915."
