Description

Deep colored wood organ. Two raised steeples on both sides, music stand, two platforms, white knobs for different sounds, in gold near keys "College Organ Co." Design on front with white fabric, knee levers, foot pedals covered with carpet and metal design. Exhibit label reads: "First Musical Instrument at Territorial Normal School. Students and faculty purchased this organ in May 1892 for ninety dollars from the proceeds of a Masquerade Ball held by the Literary Society."
